The owner of such famous UK banking names as Abbey, Alliance & Leicester and Bradford & Bingley, has turned to Mansfields’ innovative team to drive a special project aimed at raising its brand awareness.
Commissioned by Public Relations company Sidhu & Simon, Mansfields’ latest project was unveiled at one of the most high-profile sporting events in Britain – the British Grand Prix at Silverstone of which Santander was the title sponsor.
Mansfields designed and built a 400m2 tented exhibition attraction which drew thousands of F1 racing enthusiasts. The exhibition, in the familiar red corporate colour scheme of Santander, featured a pit-stop challenge in which the public could see how fast and efficiently they could change the wheels on McLaren Mercedes F1 racing car. They could also hone their driving skills on a McLaren racing car simulator and wonder at a giant replica of the Silverstone circuit constructed by Scalextric.
Every day saw more than 20,000 people pass through the attraction and it was deemed a fantastic success by both our client and members of the public. It is something we are very proud to have been associated with.
